When I worked at fedex they had a similar policy but it included jewelry too

It’s mainly because these mutations be stealing and can just claim that an electronic device is theirs when they exit with it.

That’s why this “ban” is actually just Amazon just trying to mark which phones actually belong to workers (serial #) and they can’t steal shyt and leave with a phone or device that doesn’t match what’s on record.

This is the main point. Bezos previously admitted that he doesn't want anybody to stay so Amazon enforces Draconian practices to keep the turnover high. Corporate probably implemented this in order to get a bunch of people to voluntarily quit without paying unemployment benefits.

There was a huge story years ago about them discouraging workers to say so that they don't unionize or ask for better treatment.

Amazon the company is going to constantly look at being efficient.

I think you're in the wrong century. Slavery ended a long time ago.

If your employer can treat you any sort of way that's fine. And that's you. But some of us have self respect. And people do have a right to fight and voice their opinions about their employer.

As an employer, you do have to stay competitive. You can't just do whatever you want. I don't know where you got that idea.

I actually employ people and I am responsible for retention. If you have a s***** work environment, you get s***** employees.

An article came out not too long ago, saying that amazon is running out of people to employ. I bet you they bend.
