Lot of Young people are now going to these hipster non denomination no judgement zone churches.
I noticed in affluent non black areas you only see one religious institution for the entire neighborhood lol, usually no more than 2 or 3 and if thats when they are different religions or denominations. Black areas will have 4 Baptist churche and 3 AME all in one square mile.

Women are the lifeblood of the church too. It's been that way since before the prosperity preachers. So if some preachers catered to them, it's always been because women did the most work in the church. Maybe I'm wrong. But it always seemed that way..thats not to say the men and the Elders weren't on their purpose and weren't the head, but it always seemed like women were the backbone and were always the most "on fire" and fervent so to speak.

Been getting money just as long as the Alphas. Y'all have to consider all these organizations that were set up around the same time that continue to get money and flourish without question in our community. COGIC basically wrote the blueprint for folks to get that storefront money. Fraternities, Black Protestantism, and the NAACP all started around the same time and are things that we sink our money into without seeing much of a return. When is the last time you saw a COGIC hospital or a library funded by the Alphas? The NAACP is supposed to be representing our legal interests but when is the last time helped anyone besides politicians? /endrant

For that Bible quote, Paul was talking in Athens about why they need to stop worshipping the Temples at Delphi, etc. saying you don't need the extra shyt when God is all around us. It's not a dig at churches; it simply states that God is everywhere and not just dependent on being in places that man built.
