Young people don’t primarily get their news from establishment media

You sure about that chief? Because I know for a fact. Melissa Harris perry, van jones, and Rachel maddow have large millennial followings. Young people might read opinion pieces online, but when it comes to breaking news most people go to one of the big news outlets for coverage. They have access that the little guys dont

when you take into account only 30% of the world is on twitter, that ain’t a lot

plus they also have a larger base of people older than the age for millnneals (cut off being 35) following them as well.

they have visibility but that ends when the contract isn’t resigned.

Living where I live now in Uptown NW DC. I hope these Churches don't go anywhere. In areas like mine where crazy gentrification has and is going on. These churches are the only things that preserve the true history of the neighborhood.

I love going for my Sunday walk on 13th st and seeing all these Black folks who used to live in the area coming back every Sunday. These gentrifiers be feeling a certain way bout this too.

Trust me a lot of Black churches in gentrified areas are in trouble.

nearly every black church has a lot of rich history

you being in DC I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a lot of Civil Rights work being done in those churches

As a history buff, I've learnt that Sunday Mornings can tell you a lot bout the history of a lot of communities.

Georgetown being the perfect example

Yes I’m sure. The average age of CNN, MSNBC, and Fox is almost 60 if not over.

The young Turks , Secular Talk, and probably a few others match or beat the MSM in ages 24-55. And that’s with virtually no advertising.

The corrupt pastors are the ones in the lime light most of the time. Many pastors in these community churches just try to be a staple in the community with free lunch programs, youth programs and other family based programs.
yeah, but let the juvenile thinking ass nikkas on the coli tell it, Churches are a evil place full of corrupt individuals.

Ok, that's like when the kids I grew up with in church would join "new age" churches and talk smack about the old churches.

Ol "its different because you can wear your sneakers and the choir got electric guitars and drum machines, and we call the pastor by his first name" looking ass.

Young people still worshipping at the altar of politics. U said it yourself, they dont even advertise. U know who else didnt have to advertise? The church
