Yeah her production was great which is what Beyonce pretty much snatched.

But I always thought she was more of a performer type than an actual singer singer.

The greatest of artists can do both extremely well but some a little less in certain areas and some a little more.

If she was also writing/performing then you can’t really take nothing from her, she was an integral part of those classic songs and production.

Amerie has always been a poor vocalist. This ain’t nothing new. It was the compete package that drew people to her like Aaliyah

Its also too many nikkas in that room

My professional opinion is she sounded strained and a bit tired. Background singers weren't staying in harmony, Amerie didn't have the stamina for the whole set.

But she was never built that way, she more or less a studio singer, not a powerhouse as I mentioned in the 1st page.
