back to ameire, yeah, amerie missed the 90's mark, i think. if she would've come out in the 90's she would've gotten embraced and "had that love" *rich porter's voice from "paid in full"

She missed it by 3-4 years. If All I have came though in 98-99 she would have got more love. Remember not only she have compete with Beyonce bout to go solo but Ashanti as well.

If Beyonce ain't have a history of this bullshyt then I would be more inclined to see where u coming from. But she been on it her whole solo career damn near. Alotta industry females don't fukk wit Bey. Bey damn near didn't give credit to NeYo for his track Irreplaceable. She tried to say she came up with it but his fans already heard his version and called her out on it and she gave him credit when she accepted her award for the song.

I see what you're saying, but it's two separate issues really. Ameriie didn't write "Crazy In Love". It just happens to be produced by her producer. From my understanding, when Rich did "Crazy In Love", Beyoncé had left the studio and he had like an hour to come up with the record.

At most Ameriie is an influence that Beyoncé doesn't acknowledge, which is no surprise because Beyoncé's style is comprised of styles from many women across genres. Kelis is another influence that is unspoken of.

Man...Its tragic how R&B just got thrown into the bushes. The turn up/party aspect of the hip-hop culture completely diluted it as well. You barely hear songs like Why Don't We Fall In Love on the radio nowadays. Songs about Black love seems like a thing of the past. Now its about tricking on hoes and strippers, drinking ciroq, poppin pills, fukking the next man's woman etc.

I Shouldn't have to dig deep underground just to find feel good music....but it is what it is. Just the sign of the times.

I loved Amerie but the girl couldn't sing live worth a damn. That was her downfall.

Every time I heard her perform on tv she would crack and have pitch issues EVERY time.

People in here blaming Beyonce. :heh:
