Gun violence is already declining steadily and the gun control debate is definitely centered around these occurrences.

To say otherwise is to have ignored media since the tragedy.
Tragedy provides an opportunity, but gun control advocates don't just turn on and off with school shootings.
In fact it actually amplifies their point.
But if we consider this shooting and the vegas shooting and the church shooting there were clear failures that led to them.
Church: he was dishonorably dischsrand shouldn't have been able to purchase a gun in the first place.
Vegas: the purchase of that many firearms in a short amount of time should send off red flags and honestly shouldn't be allowed.
School: FBI and the sheriff's department failed with their response to the concerns of the community.
