There is no such thing as a 'single mother'. She's into some type of relationship with the father if he is not dead, in jail, or in another state or country. They may not be on the best of terms but I promise you he hits it from time to time.

As a single father even though I know it's hypocritical as hell, I don't mess with single mothers, just too many headaches and you will never be the leading man in that women's life, god, jesus, the pastor are all on a pedestal higher than you, you are the support.
I've messed with many women that stop messing with me cause I was single father, I respect each and everyone of them cause ain't no bytch ever gonna come over my kid......

You have to be in a certain mindset to mess with a single mom and it be a serious relationship.
1) you wont be 1st and if you are then you need to leave the relationship alone ASAP
2) You have kid you have to support at some point, no matter "what she says" so if you never had a kid before you are tossed into a roll of a parent. And depending on the age of the kid or kids that can be hell.

I don't know about real men, but single men that aren't looking to settle down or for a extra load of responsibility should leave single moms alone

I don't know if any of this is true. To be honest a lot of this seems heavily fabricated. The only reason I haven't dated a single mother is because of my MOMS reaction. My father would probably be like . But my mother is a whole different animal all together. If I choose to introduce my mother and father to a single mother I'm dating I have to be 110 percent sure she's going to be my wife. There has to be no middle ground here, just thinking of my moms questions

Not to negate single parents and those who's fathers left them either if they passed or they ran...but its timw to being traditional values back to the black community but there needs to be a focus on building strong family units either with single parent households or two parent households. period.

And that means both men and women need to stand up. It takes two to tango and it takes a village to raise a child.
