Anyone who knows how the huh-wite man operates within his babylonian system knows the true agenda of the demonization of the mid range shot was to run all of those dominant black kobe-jordan hybrids out of the league and get their white boys some shine and max contracts

mid range is not that bad of a shot but dudes wanna act like its the devil and agree with these talking heads instead of staying on code, now they out here proclaiming Luka Doncic as the GOAT offensive player lol
this brain somehow someway made it to adulthood safely :ehh:

Having the midrange game in a overall diverse scoring pkg=great

Centering a huge portion of your team offensive output around midrange scoring=stupid

fukk the analytics nerds :blessed:

bu bu but why dont they take 4 steps back for the shot worth more points :sadcam:

never play basketball yet be paid heavily to construct teams based off of stats that dont matter when youre actually on the court, brehs

Exactly, basketball isn’t an excel spreadsheet. You take what the defense gives you and exploit what’s available at the time. So you best be dangerous all over the court because sometimes that “low percentage shot” is going to be the only thing available.

I agree somewhat. It takes skill to go in, go off the dribble, make a move, get separation and hit a jumper. These white boys mostly can’t do that (not all, just most) so they used to be at the three point line waiting for the catch and shoot like your John Paxsons, Steve Kerrs, Kyle Korvers, Mike Millers. They couldn’t do what Kobe and Jordan did or what Kawhi, KD, and CP3 does. Now the game has to be played their way or it’s not smart. Can’t wait for another Shaq or another MJ to come through and crush the buildings.

I agree, but KD's midrange is so good that it generates him as many points per attempt as his 3 shots do (and he doesn't really force 3s so his percentage stays high)

As far as young guys in the NBA other than Booker: Tatum is a good mid range shooter too. He doesn't get most of his points like that a la 1998 MJ, but he's not afraid to shoot the long 2 when it's the best look available

Luka has a nice mid range fadeaway but I don't see him shoot many regular mid range shots

Low key, Mikal Bridges is a pretty good mid range shooter, also.Ayton used to be automatic from mid, but he hardly ever attempts that shyt anymore. It's incredible how the Suns are transforming him into Rudy Gobert.Throughout college & his first year in the league, the mid range J was his bread & butter.
