now we got nikkas in here sayingExactly, basketball isn’t an excel spreadsheet. You take what the defense gives you and exploit what’s available at the time. So you best be dangerous all over the court because sometimes that “low percentage shot” is going to be the only thing available.

now we got nikkas in here saying
"the analytics dont say its a bad shot, they actually want kwahi, booker, paul, durant to take the shot! just not pj tucker!"
so you need to pay some nerd thats never played basketball before 100k to make an algorithm that tells you devin booker should take a wider variety of shots than pj tucker![]()

Exactly. Muthafukkas stating the obvious like we wanted Brian Scalabrine taking the shot. CP3 just flame broiled Denver with the mid range. They were guarding him heavy around the perimeter but they kept leaving that spot inside open and he killed them with it.
The logic overall was always that the average player is not efficient enough at shooting them to justify the volume they were being taken around the league and that the 3-pointer was more efficient. Not that they should never be taken by any player, ever. That's it, that's all. Chris Paul is not an average mid-range shooter, and neither is Kawhi, KD, Kyrie, etc. that logic don't apply to them.
And you'll still be on my dikk, no matter what happens in the next round.fakkit @Gil Scott-Heroin will up this thread if suns lose next rd
something that actually bothers me about watching basketball in 2021 is how many of these dudes who can shoot between 30-40% at 3 can't shoot a midrange shot to save their life.
especially one that they got on their own that wasn't catch and shoot.
