It starts out a bit shaky IMO but it picks up fast. I like every joint too just the sequencing was off on my first listen

Paak is a talented dude and while he's rapping more than I expected on here, he also rapped his ass off

The guests all did their thing and the production and mix is immaculate. Great album

It's bad

critics are being generous by giving it a 6
Nah, it's not bad at all. It just didn't quite live up to expectations.

Album doesn't really pick up until the 2nd half of 6 Summers, save for that godawful Mansa Musa track. The last track can be cut as well really.

Venice
Malibu
Oxnard
Yes Lawd

Listening again and this is like 7.5. Very good but he set the bar so high on the first two that this feels like a slight disappointment

Only songs i dont like were Mansa and Left to Right(song is basura).
Overall this is super solid but doesnt have the groove or standout tracs of venice and malibu.

Dre shoulda just did the mixing....shyt sounds fukkin CLEAN tho

I want a full album of Paak n BJ produced by Knxwledge n Gaytranada....lime a rnb version of Fetti

Dre needs to STAY AWAY from the mic, shyt was cringeworthy hearing that old nikka flow like that

First half of the album is average but picks up with Saviers Road. Not in the same league as Malibu. Disappointed

And the NxWorries album is much better than this

I finally understand how rappity rap nikkas in here felt when they were bytching about the singing on the Phonte album...

As an R&B head, I felt like Oxnard was more of a rap album than R&B. It had some joints I liked (Cheers and Headlow were really enjoyable), but this album isn't really up my alley like Malibu.

There's not a bad track on here but I didn't hear many stand outs. The highs aren't as high as Malibu. Nothing on here made me say "got dayum:whew:" like a whole bunch of records from that album did.
yeah basically the album is not as good as the previous, but still dope with some cool tracks

but Left or Right and maybe Mansa can both take a hike for me:camby:
