Anyway, after giving this album months, it's not good. First time Paak really let me down. As I said earlier, he had a Miguel moment, had all the momentum and was on the cusp after Malibu/Yes Lawd, but fumbled it with a weak follow up. I hope he doesn't sit on this, he needs to flip this album - like a v2 of it or deluxe version or just put out a new EP sometime in the spring.

when the next album drops ppl will say the samething about that compared to this one...

remember when dre was drunk in the stu and said his album name and he cut the video off immediately. dre called it “oxnard ventura” this might have been planned from the jump.

This was definitely planned from the grip. I actually really enjoyed the album outside of 2 songs so I'm hype for this.

The tour he's on is not selling well and I can guess that the audience isn't bopping to this latest album.

I asked someone who was at one of his shows a few months ago how many songs he performed off this album, and she was like, he played like 2 or 3 out of a 8 song set

He knows his core fans ain't feeling the vibe of this album.

She's 100% too young for me. But she's also very much in the Paak target demographic. Also, those two songs you listed suck.

I'm not sure what the appearance was exactly, but the girl I hit up about it had posted some pics to her IG Story feed and I just asked her how was it and if he played a lot of songs off of Oxnard.

Looked like a pop up show or something in a small club/bar type location. His concerts are longer for sure
