The entitlement that's constantly on display from Andre "fans" really creeps me out. He doesn't owe you shyt. He didn't promise to perform. He didn't tell you he was going to perform. He showed up to an awards/recognition show, gave a speech and bounced. That shyt happens every year for multiple artists and nobody bats an eye.
Do I think Andre says weird shyt about rap? Yes. Do I find it lame that he gets to half ass on the flute and get Grammy noms while actual musicians are ignored? Yes. But at the end of the day this is about validation and attention. Andre very clearly values validation from a certain segment of music fans, to the point he will come outside for them (interviews, performances, print media, etc). The question for you is...why are you giving him attention? He's not doing what you want, and you're not interested in the music he makes. So why do you care? Move on.

They literally announced their LAST performances. It was in Atlanta billed ATLast! He wasnt happy doing those shows but he did that shyt for the fans. The show I went to mfs flew in from out the country to see them. I was next to mfs that flew in from Holland and Tokyo. shyt was crazy. They said this is it. He's standing on his word.

Andre don't seem that well mentally,I think that's why Big Boi is so understanding. If Big Boi was on a better label, he'd be a much bigger solo artist. All of his albums of songs with huge hit potential
