More power to both him and Big Boi. They have a friendship that’s bigger and more significant than the music and I’m sure it ain’t been easy but the love and respect they have for one another as brothers shines bright to this day.


I’m glad they got in the Hall of Fame but I’m even happier that they love and support between them is still intact and the whole Dungeon Family.

Them being equals is an argument that has only come up since Andre stopped rapping and Big Boi kept going. They were not seen as equals while the group was active.

If I make 200 songs with you and I have the more memorable verse on 195 of them, we ain’t equals breh. It don’t matter what you do after I stop, I’m ahead of you.

It’s not even about technical ability, we all know Big Boi is a great rapper in that regard. It’s the content of the lyrics. Andre was always ahead of the curve there. Not just ahead of Big Boi, but the majority of the industry.

This is a pure lie. People didn't start putting 3K that far ahead of Big Boi until AFTER he stopped rapping. Big Boi was literally the one who everyone pegged for a feature at one point as a matter of fact. Of course there was people who liked 3K better but not to the point it is now where people treat Big Boi like an afterthought to the group. If 3K is top 5 than Big Boi deserves to at least be top 10. They will have this nikka at like the 25-30 mark. Just disrespectful af.
