Andre not rapping new verses or putting out a rap solo album? Cool. He’s said over and over and OVER that he’s not into rap like that anymore so it is what it is.

But he couldn’t perform a quick medley with Big Boi? On a night where your catalogue and legacy is being celebrated in the highest of pantheons? Just because you accept Andre's fugazi looking non committal reasons for not wanting to perform with Sax, even though they cool and it's been WELL Noted with many a Graduation picture and Dungeon Family cookout PR shyt, don't mean folk ain't got a reason to be dissapointed to pissed off at duke for not wanting to rock the mic, once again, for something as important as that.
We been known about these "terms" that are out there between them with them being cool with whatever, but don't none of that stop us from WATCHING the nikka be in the same venue knowing that it would fuel fire to speculation as to why he'd let something like that happen, REGARDLESS of his reasons.
But it's whatever at this point, they both healthy and happy with whatever is going on and hopefully this is one of the last times we have to hear/see Andre regarded with anything prominent Hip Hop/Outkast so these conversations don't gain resurgence like they do everytime something like this comes around.

3 Stacks has always been a complex individual. It seems he has a weird relationship with hip hop and the OutKast brand overall. He literally would perform live on stage in different disguises, platinum wigs and wacky costumes. I don’t think he did all that for attention and to just look cool. He did that as a way to deal with performance anxiety and not show his true self.

Present day, he seems more comfortable in his own skin the further he disassociate himself from hip hop and OutKast. Big Boi still looks happy and proud to be apart of that.

Yeah it’s disappointing as a Outkast Stan that they couldn’t perform together at their hall of fame ceremony but I moved on at thought of them reuniting to perform/make new music a long time ago.
