I agree im just thinking hes also been on bad teams where hes had to be 1 of the top 2-3 players,if he can go to a team where hes like Iguodala on the Warriors, dont ask him to be a scorer just rebound and play acceptable defense he wont look so bad.....Alot of what makes him look bad esp in Detroit is he was the 2nd best player on the team so of course his stats didnt lead to winning because they were bad and hes not a No 2....Look at me talking myself into this deal now :francis:

Offensively for sure he’d have reduced role in Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, etc. and tbh that wouldn’t even be my concern.

My issue would be the defense. He looks the part for a rim protector but in his career he’s proven to be basically the complete opposite. It’s possible that playing for a winning team with a defined role might bring it out of him, but again it’s hard for me to bank on potential for someone that’s been in the league for nearly a decade.

The fact that essentially every year of his career his teams have performed better defensively with him off the floor, and in some years significantly better, gives me reason to believe it is what it is at this point

I think he can be good on a contender if he focuses on rebounding and defense.

he’s been on teams where he gets to do what he wants, he’s not a offensive player. A strong coach can make him useful

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
If y'all clear Siakim's contract, who y'all going after in FA?

Masai making a play for Oladipo or Lonzo in FA?

just to get rid of pascal would be :blessed: dude is trash and has four more years of making superstar money, he'll just decline even more year after year.

Sometimes you just have to admit you were wrong and get out of the deal. I'd get rid of siakam for drummond, not resign drummond, trade lowry and just tank
we are stuck in tampa no one really cares about this season in toronto

The teams that really need him are likely teams with little cap space and dam sure don't want to foot the rest of the 28 mill owed to him this season. They probably rather just fall back let him get bought out and grab him on the low. Unless Cleveland will add a pick with Drummond but I can't see them doing that.

shyt not moving no needles in the eastern conference as far I’m concerned, whatever :francis:

for them, it moves the needle.
prolly gets them back to another deep 2nd round run.
a jump up from where they were headed this summer.

a few weeks ago, somebody told me that brooklyn was trying to get drummond tho.

Detroit traded him for a 2nd round pick, hard to imagine any team gtiving up more than that for him....Why would anyone give up anything of value knowing that.
