Again i dont get the bad business angle. Its a contract. Its over. You either renew or find a new home.

its not bad business to not choose to renew. Or lowball. Either side ain't really wrong financially speaking.

Its every man for themselves. Joe just transparent on how the business of media works.

I hope joe beats the yamaka off this bytch
Apparently Schulz used to box, his dad used to cover the fights back in the day and got him into it young. He talked about it on Rogan when discussing Floyd's greatness, made me despise him less, lol. So yeah, Budden might not want to see him with the hands

Where did you get billions of views from? Joe Budden is number 5 in the USA Spotify podcast chart and is only on this platform alongside Youtube where it averages 300k to 450k per episode, and clips average 70k. As I said he is doing Call Her Daddy numbers on only one platform and that podcast is on every platform so gets an even bigger audience. Call Her Daddy host is on a basic salary of $500k + bonus. He obviously brought an audience to Spotify when he launched but sadly he was just a guinea pig, I do not see the billions of views people are talking about? Going independent or run with a partner and cut a deal. It is not that complicated lol. Why is it only Joe who makes this complicated?

He's been doing podcast for over a decade... add in streaming on all platforms beyond just youtube... add in the complex show ... add in music...add in the home video vlogs he did before anyone. His last 100 videos are hitting 500k on youtube alone. You might not agree, and he's not at a billion but he's closing in on that bytch :yeshrug: ask yourself if its okay for Joe Rogan to get bread, then why is everyone around him saying its not okay... but not saying that to Joe Rogan? Should you not get the amount of money you deserve? If I'm in my Prime and I have 500 mill... and you offer me 30mill, why would I take that when I'm bringing you the machine? My machine does numbers and is here to stay so why would you undervalue that?

The dumb shyt people arent seeing is that JBP was independent... you arent saying anything new with that shyt. The point is securing the bag and getting a fair deal.... like I said... if Joe Rogan's boys are saying go independent and fight for your worth... how come they arent saying that to Joe Rogan? You dont even need to put Joe Budden into the convo... why cover for Rogan and give him his publishing but then say fukk the next man and short change him? How can it be one way but everyone says look the other way... that shyt dont add up. Joe was absolutely right about the Howard Stern/Oprah shyt.... you get the bag and then dictate your worth from what you bring to the table. You got shytty business practices if you dont want to deal because you cant exploit someone. Joe is making spotify all this bread FOR FREE... they dont even gotta do shyt. :wow: and they are still like "Yeah but we dont want to let you know how much you're actually worth... and we want ownership of what you create... and here's 40% of what you're asking for" I dont see how anyone saying fukk that can be wrong. If you had a Corvette in a garage with 20k miles... would you sell it to me for 8k because of what Kelly Bluebook says? or would that corvette still be worth 40k damn near to you? Business looks bad if its not consistent, you cant pick and choose who you want to fukk over when you're bringing nothing to the table. A real proposal and deal would have sat with Joe and broke down the numbers and projection ... give him ballpark pay according to that break down. And cut a deal where spotify can still broadcast his older shows still, while letting him have ownership to distribute freely afterwards. Then they bank off doing nothing, new subscriptions, old episode streams etc. You cant lose money by just chilling and counting bread. Let that man cook and give him realistic numbers and pay accordingly while you sit back and collect.

Who are these guys? Their being so disrespectful and they have this confident vibe like they're the greatest.

I never heard of them in my life.

I don't like podcasts. I like audiobooks by credible authors.

That indian dude is another wack ass comedian and irks the shyt outta me, makes perfect sense that they work together.

Exactly, like in sports. If you play well you don't ask for the same contract, you tell them to pay up.

Word. He was laughing at the other guy openly diss Budden - then went on to talk about how he's been in therapy in years.

It's like he's rude/an a$$hole then talks about therapy.

That bothered me because there alot of great people with serious mental health issues.

Their podcast is spooky. Im not with it.
But hey all the best to them.

I'd much rather listen to Prodigy's audiobook on repeat. Much more genuine.
