I think the term is overused but it's so appropriate in this case. Andrew Schulz is basically a culture vulture.
Fukk Vlad but at least you can kinda tell he was into the music and the elements when he was younger. He seems to have very little amount of principles and moves funny but he was at some point a hip hop head.
Adam you can tell also he's into the mumble stuff and is trying to capitalize.
Both of them come off as sellouts but seem to have been intune with the culture at some point.
Andrew is just a straight up vulture. And an arrogant one at that. I'll never forget when he dissed Jazzy Jeff. Even his man CTG had to check him and seemed annoyed by him. He's not intune with the culture at all yet tries to be a critic of the culture.
It's as if i started talking about country music as if i was an authority and used my friendship with a popular country radio station host as an "in". Then i start a whole podcast clowning people and making fun of them. Rednecks would never allow it. Hillbillies would never cosign it. Just disgusting

I only disagree with the infinite number of subs shyt ...every artist on the planet has new fans every day. There's a thread right next to this one about "What makes Joe Rogan interesting" and 90% of the posts are people listening to his podcast for the first time. Now they have opened thousands of episodes to look through. Whether that means they just wanted to steal the quick subs or not, thats still bad business... not you in general. But people are acting like Spotify is microsoft. They bring nothing to the table, they upload your shyt and make shady deals. The software and code is already there all they have to do is update the main page. They do not invest any money into shyt
If I'm buying bricks and you are my runner ... and you are selling out quick... I get you more bricks. I dont give you less bricks
and they are still like "Yeah but we dont want to let you know how much you're actually worth... and we want ownership of what you create... and here's 40% of what you're asking for" I dont see how anyone saying fukk that can be wrong. If you had a Corvette in a garage with 20k miles... would you sell it to me for 8k because of what Kelly Bluebook says? or would that corvette still be worth 40k damn near to you? Business looks bad if its not consistent, you cant pick and choose who you want to fukk over when you're bringing nothing to the table. A real proposal and deal would have sat with Joe and broke down the numbers and projection ... give him ballpark pay according to that break down. And cut a deal where spotify can still broadcast his older shows still, while letting him have ownership to distribute freely afterwards. Then they bank off doing nothing, new subscriptions, old episode streams etc. You cant lose money by just chilling and counting bread. Let that man cook and give him realistic numbers and pay accordingly while you sit back and collect.
