On the other hand this Common Core stuff seems too complicated. And lol at the "Common Core" results I found on that Mad World News.


Even though parents put on the whole "college educated but can't understand" narrative as a hyperbole, young kids don't need the scenic route to be taught as the first method of solving math problems. All this can be shown as reasoning and theory during free time, but not as the main way to solve.
Nah, just a concerned parent who knows what matters for her child, and more need to follow suit forreal.



Who's talking about those properties? We're dealing with convoluted methods of doing simple arithmetic, not attributes that actually come in handy later
