Yea, LAC was arguably as talented as Boston on paper (i.e. Kawhi/Harden/Zubac/Norm vs Tatum/JB/KP/Jrue), and Denver beat them straight up. I said in their series thread LAC was more talented but DEN was smarter and tougher mentally.

I think DEN kinda taught OKC how to be mentally tough and we're kinda seeing the payoff in real time with JDubb. But to your point, DEN was probably the 2nd best team in the West after OKC. It's hard to say because this MIN team beat them last year but that was with KAT instead of Randle. They look terrible right now but dunno how they'd have looked against DEN or LAC

This is completely unfair to Ant.

He was busting his ass in the first half trying to generate offense when nobody else could besides making open shots; he was visibly tired as a mug because nobody else on the team can create their own shot, consistently. You even had folks criticizing him for taking too many 3s, but it's a necessity for him to open up space because Julius and Gobert shrink the floor. He can't just keep being a crash test dummy driving into the paint with multiple defenders ready to swarm him.

OKC got 5 plus defenders on the court damn near at all times and they wondering why this flawed ass team is looking as such.

realistically Ant actually will have to channel the ghost of MJ for anything to pop this series because role players for the wolves are role playering they asses off so far
