All it takes is one injury or running into a squad that just dont miss from 3. It looked like Boston was bout to run shyt. Everybody jumped out the window with Denver last year. Now that said, OKC has everything you need to run the league for 5 years. Most important thing is how they respond to success. Even right now, everybody crowning them. They lay an egg in Minny tonight and this series aint even over. Interested to see how they respond tonight. If OKC wins this year, the rest of the league would need some crazy offseason acquisitions to prevent them from being the first team to repeat in 8-years.

We need Minnesota to win tonight
Sorry, but naw...
There is a reason why people that have watched OKC all season have been saying that this team should coast to a NBA title. The record setting defensive numbers and, in the regular season, most double digit victories. In the postseason, OKC's three point shooting has gone cold; many of their games should have looked like the destruction that Memphis got in game 1. If the bench starts shooting well again, then you can crown OKC because they shouldn't lose another game; even Denver shouldn't have been a challenge.
The only team left that can possibly compete against OKC is the Pacers.
As much hate as SGA has been getting on the internet for his "foul baiting" he funnily enough is the prototype for what oldheads want in a player. He gets to the midrange, barely takes any 3s, and he can beat guys off the dribble to the cup with a smooth package (pause). Also his foul shyt is no comparison to what Harden used to get away with in his prime.
Sam Presti did his stuff with this squad no lie … and this was after dismantling a team that had 3 MVP caliber players on itLooks like Shai winning his first MVP, FMVP and chip in the same year
Midrange byke![]()
