People are giving OKC A LOT of credit as it pertains to Ant. I agree they are making it tough. But name me one star player who hasn't been the vocal point of a team's defensive strategy, A part of it is understanding spacing and leverage within the design of the offense. I think Ant often plays into the hands of the defense. A team should not be able to completely take bro out of the game with a defensive concept that simple. Bro gotta tighten up.
He's not "completely" taken out of the game when he's making the right basketball play, which explains why the role players went off.
Swarmed by 3 to 4 elite-defensive players...you said name one star who hasn't been the focal point of a team's defensive strategy; how bout name one star who's swarmed by 3 to 4 elite defensive players in a series?
Dort...NBA All-Defensive First team
Jalen Williams...NBA All-Defensive Second team
SGA...Elite defense
Caruso...Elite defense
Chet...Elite defense
I don’t know what’s worse - that this big dummy ass oaf has become the representation of NBA media, or that this is already the representation of what NBA discourse has been for a long damn time.
It really is no wonder why cats like Ant wanna distance themselves from being the face of the league.
I gotta anticipate that Dillingham is a factor next season. Kinda wild they traded up for a player that they couldn't find minutes for with Conley on the downturn of his career.

Face of the league...purely basketball, he's up there
The question should be, should off-court matters play a part in being the face of the league?
Personally don't care...but we all know it's not purely sports...it's a business, and companies care. Because it's a billion-dollar business, how is Kendrick Perkins's take wrong?
Whether it should or shouldn’t be is beside the point. Only in a Black league does this standard of morality need to be upheld. Ain’t nobody ever put Derek Jeter or Aaron Rodgers under the microscope (or whoever was atop of the NHL) for their womanizing ways, in fact, that element of their lives was celebrated.

I'm glad OKC is beating the Wolves, because incase the Knicks go to the Finals I don't want Julius and Donte having revenge games against New York, especially since all Knicks fans know other teams like to show their ass in Madison Square Garden
