I'll never forget we were either on the Coli or sohh debating over Oladipo/Noel/Len/Porter I think someone even suggested Mcelmore not a one person brought up damn Bennett....than the draft happen and with Christ Grants #1 pick he picked Bennett I was shocked as all hell....But Grant fukked up damn near every pick he had except Kyrie.

Career avg of 4pt 3rb and 5pt 3rb you may be right those are the worst all time numbers of a #1 even Larue put up better numbers...He is potentially the biggest bust ever.

The bigger fukk up was Bennett because he had no business going #1 in any justification. Darko had the talent to be up there. Bennett didn't.

true on the first. larry was going to bench whoever was drafted. he was all about the vets

but on the second this is what i'll never get. Bennett didnt draft himself. its not his fault he was a mid to late first round talent and a team was dumb enough to take him. i cant call him a real bust because in everybody elses world he wouldnt have been drafted there (darko would have been drafted high by somebody else because his hype was up there)

Mike Brown pushed the organization to draft Bennett. They as a collective fukked up.

Like I said, the thought process of drafting him makes sense. They just didn't set him up well.

There's no reason he's on the court when he can't see. He couldnt breathe and yet you send him out there not in game shape and expect him to be able to keep up in the NBA?

Those things should've been addressed before his rookie season at minimum. I'm not even talking about the basketball side of it.

But all it takes is looking at Larry's track record with young players to see he's cancer to potential. He failed more players in NY and Charlotte than AAU

Carlisle got SO MUCH heat for not playing Tayshaun until the Orlando series, and short leashing Memo their rookie years. Tay got immunity for basically saving the season and coming back from that 3-1. Perception is a lot of things.

Michael Curry had so much pull with the Pistons for whatever reason.
