Why do you people trust the media so much? shyts mad strange. You distrust the media, government, healthcare industry, etc. for other things but entirely 1000% trust them on this.

nikkas will say this but can’t be bothered to read one clinical study :dead:

the media reports the news. But the facts are widely available for anyone to read on their own

“A few days later when I call time of death,” continued Cobia on Facebook, “I hug their family members and I tell them the best way to honor their loved one is to go get vaccinated and encourage everyone they know to do the same.”

“They cry. And they tell me they didn’t know. They thought it was a hoax. They thought it was political. They thought because they had a certain blood type or a certain skin color they wouldn’t get as sick. They thought it was ‘just the flu’. But they were wrong. And they wish they could go back. But they can’t. So they thank me and they go get the vaccine. And I go back to my office, write their death note, and say a small prayer that this loss will save more lives.”

Am I misreading this or is she assuming all the people that leave her office end up dying?writing death notes in advance?

You laughing but, this again is what the media was putting out there....:lolbron::lolbron::lolbron::francis:

https://www.usnews.com/news/health-...-types-more-susceptible-to-covid-19-infection

The research that she worked on, which was published in July, did not find a relationship between blood type and severe cases of COVID-19.

"People are getting confused about, 'Oh, if I get [COVID-19] and I'm type A blood I'm going to die,' and that's untrue," Dua says. "But whether or not if you're type A blood you're more likely to get it, that's another question."

But at the same time, Dua notes that data available on the subject of COVID-19 and blood type are conflicted. For example, a small study out of Canada in October found that patients with blood type A or AB are at increased risk for requiring ventilation compared to those with blood type O or B.

The study Dua was involved in also found that people with blood type O were less likely to test positive for the coronavirus than other blood types. Still, she warned that no one is immune to COVID-19 and that the research in this field so far is "not pointing to a very cut and dry obvious conclusion."

Sean Stowell of Brigham and Women's Hospital says that "everyone, regardless of blood type, is susceptible to this disease and can die from this disease."

Stowell was one of the authors of a study published last week that found that the coronavirus is particularly attracted to the blood type A antigen found on respiratory cells.

People arent putting shyt out their asses..Just because you or other people weren't privy to what was put out there isnt their problem. there has been tons of mis information out there, but these so-called experts. :yeshrug:

Vaxxed people getting sick was expected from the beginning so using that as a criticism fails. No vaccine gives 100% protection. As far as them spreading it, unvaccinated people, far and away, are responsible for it due to viral load. More virus present in them = more opportunities for mutations and spread. This is born-out by the surges ravaging the unvaccinated right now. They account for 99% of all new cases...

It's very logical and you would even find this discussion in the biology 101 section dealing with the immune system.

Antibodies act as inhibitors to prevent virus replication.

This is an oversimplified explanation but let's say for instance in a vaccinated person the virus would only replicate 10 times while in an unvaccinated person it would replicate 10,000,000 times. Being that the chance that a virus produces an effective variant is actually random, you can safely infer that it is much MUCH more likely for an unvaccinated person to create a variant.

So yes, the viral load matters.

Yea but none of that defines how vaccinated cases are less susceptible to mutations. It's just a theory ya'll are throwing out there to try to explain it. But it doesn't explain why highly vaxxed areas like L.A. County are still seeing cases rising. Your theory is that vax = lower viral load = less chance of transmission. Maybe that's true to some extent but how much less is the viral load and how much less likely are they to transmit it to someone else and is it less enough to make any difference in virus mutation? There's no data to prove that. The fact that vaccinated are still getting the shyt no matter what the level of symptoms are leaves it open to mutations.

In fact there is research/theory in just the opposite, that vaccinations will make mutations more likely or at the very least, won't make a difference in the mutation either way and continued updated vaccines will be needed

It's a matter of chance, not 'throwing things out there'. To put this as simply as I can, your chance of winning the lottery is increased if you buy hundreds of tickets rather than 10.

Unvaccinated people = tens of thousands of chances to 'win' COVID.

Vaccinated people = 100 chances

OP is a dumbass.

Maybe we don’t want to inject a newly created vaccine in which we don’t know the long term effects of.

If you are young, healthy, no health conditions you’ll be more then fine if you don’t get vaccinated.

Plenty of people got it before the vaccination came out so what. The vaccine is just so life can go back to normal.

Someone with some sense

Can't nobody argue this

I truly do understand the ppl that are scared by a vaccine and wanna take a wait and see approach. They're undeniably wrong at this point, but I can atleast understand that thought process

But the anti vaxxers are an embarrassment.

It's not a surprise that the ones vehemently arguing against the vaccine are basically a who's who of the dumbest posters on thecoli

If you're on the fence, just read through this thread and ask yourself why it's generally the dumbest ppl arguing against the vaccine
Smh

You calling people dumb but taking an experimental vax that's less than a year old that don't even stop you from getting civic. Use your brain and ask questions.

You probably think covid came from a Chinese bat soup when all evidence shows it came from a lab. This was a global plan

Ok TROLLing.

Your spelling errors and struggle to form coherent sentences are doing alot to dispel my claim of it being the dumbest posters being anti vax.

Btw I know the vaccine doesn't prevent me from getting "civic", but thanks for the info

We are not anti Vaxxers, but we do not wanna get a vaccine that's experimental. We don't know what that shyt is.

Because no one knows what the fukk this MRNA Technology shyt is about. This is the first time they have been putting that shyt in vaccines.

  • mRNA – Also known as messenger ribonucleic acid, mRNA is the only active ingredient in the vaccine. The mRNA molecules contain the genetic material that provide instructions for our body on how to make a viral protein that triggers an immune response within our bodies. The immune response is what causes our bodies to make the antibodies needed to protect us from getting infected if exposed to the coronavirus.

  • The genetic material is man made and not naturally from the body. This genetic material could have flaws with the instructions it gives to your body.
