I grew up Jewish.. went to Sunday School and Hebrew School every week, got Bar Mitzvah'd.. the whole 9..
But even as a kid, when they'd teach us about Moses parting the red sea, and the burning bush, and all those unreal biblical stories, in my head I always saw it as just exaggerations of what really happened, or made up to teach us lessons. I'm not sure I ever honestly, truly BELIEVED what they were saying, although I did see the value in the social/communal aspect of having a group who looks out for each other.
I think because I was exposed to good people going through some pretty bad things early on in life, any "belief" I had was destroyed pretty early on

now athiests are acting like jehovah witnesses? It just goes to show you that people can be fanatical for just about anything. how long until we a some sort of church(i doubt they would call it that) for athiest people?
