Rock a slick Nike rain suit and my clothes & body stay dry and I got both my hands free :youngsabo:. And if I'm wearing bummy sh!t to go to the store or run a quick errand, I'll just let that soothing rain water hit me :ahh:. I take a shower every day, why the hell would water intimidate me? :smugdraper:

I roll with the no umbrella/ both hands free/ ready for action Crew :salute:

So you guys would rather walk around wet and possibly on the way to having a cold than carry an umbrella?

Caring about random people's opinion about you. :russ:

I remember back in high school when the "cool nikka" would be leaving their jackets open in really cold temperature just to look cool.

I used to hate them dumbasses that would get on the bus in the morning wearing a muscle shirt when its 30° outside. Then they wanna walk all smooth to the back of the bus so everybody could see them coming down the aisle.

i rather just get soaked in tha rain instead of lookin like a transgender Mary Poppins
I saw something salty coming down the pipe from a mile away.
I give it a 6 out of 10 for comic genius, but it probably won't become a featured thread.

Or the opposite when the weather breaks and it's warm outside and you see young nikkaz with coats on and sweatshirts like they're carrying. Hot, sweaty, and musty, just to present an image.

Do people (some, not all) in this thread understand that something inorganic like the weather, or contact with water, CANNOT get you sick by itself?

Do people understand that illnesses are brought on by microscopic organisms that invade your body and throw your homeostasis out of whack?

My brehs & brehettes, it's 2015, stop with this stupid sh!t of not understanding how the natural world around you operates...

Yes we tend to get sicker in winter because the air is dryer which makes the mucous membranes dryer thus increasing the chance of something entering the body to give you that work. But to be on some "you'll catch a cold because you're underdressed in the cold" is such a wrong conclusion it's mind-boggling that people still roll with advice Wilma Flintstone was dishing to Pebbles in 1965 :mindblown:... we get colds in summer & spring too last I checked.

And just to complete this lesson in an attempt to erase this ignorance, you can breathe in 200 (arbitrary high number) viruses in any given day, if you've already encountered & fought off all 200 of those viruses, you're not gonna get sick, at all. Your body will forever save the antibody when it makes one to naturally fight off an illness. Ever notice we catch less colds the older we get?

Ya'll need to listen in biology class or some sh!t, too much mumbo-jumbo gettin spat around here
