what can i say, i've always wanted a ducati since i saw trinity ride one, just never seen a 996 for sale locally so this one will do

i love it but i think i've rode it twice since then, one of those times was to take it to an airstrip... i went "yep, that's way too much power for my skill level"

Do like another poster said and buy a Ninja 300 - 400. Should be able to get one for about $3000.

Or you can trade the ducati for a Ninja 650.

If you're riding during the winter, the only other thing would be to make sure your tires are in good condition and holding pressure.

If shutting down for winter:

A deep clean and wax/polish
Disconnect the battery or use a tender
Plug exhaust (animals crawling in)
Cover it.

who knows; ive heard about AirTags on bikes. but he parked right quick on the street came back GONE.



I've had people pull up on me at the gas station and literally put the pump back and ghost.



I've seen bikes get lifted into u-hauls.



its just 2 easy to jack bikes

Very easy to jack bikes. Id say have a garage but shyt can happen when you at the grocery story. Best get a tracker if you can and insurance

I wonder if cheap bikes are least suspectible of getting stolen?

I don't have one anymore; so I aint doing shyt

Long story short end of august I crashed bad. Totaled my bike; hospital and everything. High-sided, got launched over the bars and went for a long slide.



worst crash I've had in over a decade. your boy iight tho
After I got out the hospital my family had an "intervention" for me
I also got snitched on about 2 prior accidents I hid from the wife within the past handful of years


I already got paid and spent the $$$ on debt


But yea; I won't be participating in this thread in 2026. Been down this road before and got back in it; time will tell.


Either way; Ryde fast and take chances coli fam.

Damn bruh I felt this one. My wife knows I’m happy when I ride but I see her worry. I grapple with it too.
I do this every fall around this time (bc the season is over) then the minute it’s nice and I hear pipes, back in the seat flexing. I feel like my body’s telling me to wrap it up before it’s one of those I can’t walk away from.

Sold my s1k today, feel weird about it but the check back was nice. I enjoyed my time with my bike but I'm thinking if I ever get one again I gotta go Busa.
