Surg tech and sterile processing is two different things

I’m in the sterile processing field. You can cop the book and study yourself. You have to get 400 hours of hands on experience at a hospital to be fully certified and pass the exam

Ok thanks for clarifying, I was assuming you were talking about surgical tech all along

@head shots101 what states can you pull over 100k after one year experience? I live in Georgia and they pay about 20 dollars an hour from the websites I looked at. That is better than what I would be making currently. I work at a restaurant part time and make 10 dollars an hour.

You can probably make upwards or more than 100k after years experience as a travel tech

It’s starting to get harder in nyc to get the hands on experience. A lot of these schools are now offering the hands on experience. I’m not sure how it is in other states
