yeah i do it been getting on stage 6 days a week recently, you just have to go to open mics and start trying it, you aren't going to be good at first, you are going to fail in a miserable and embarrassing fashion and you just kinda gotta get over that part of it. write some jokes, usually open mic sets are only 4 or 5 minutes (dont feel like you have to do the full time) and go try it.

this guy brings up a good point, you should be depressed or had a really shytty traumatic childhood in order to want to be a comedian.

that validation you get from entertaining complete strangers :noah:

Get rid of stage fright and embarrassment. Best way to do it is allow yourself to fail and embarrass yourself in public, on the streets. Do it enough times where you no longer possess the capacity to be embarrassed, you've been through it too many times, your experienced with your fear of failure and you have no where to go but up. And you have some stories for on stage

In the words of Shakespeare, "all the worlds a stage" everyone and everywhere is your stage and audience. This will develop your character, not just as a comedian, but as a person.
