I will and appreciate it. Would love to rid myself of a prescription, but now I feel useless if I don't take it.

Since you guys are so knowledge of this stuff, for about 5 years I abused my body with hard stimulants and synthetic drugs daily. I've been clean of all drugs(except my daily intake of piffery) for about 2 years, but find it extremely hard to find energy without adderall. Is it possible I've really fukked up my body's dopamine and other chemical levels?

I'm also a pack a day smoker and find that time to be the only time I can be at peace and relax while at work.

First, try to cut back on the smoking. Just cut back on a cigarette a day until you are down to a cigarette or two a day. It may take time but you are slowly easing off instead of a quick stop which will be hard for your body.

Second, eat some type of carb, protein and fat meal for breakfast like eggs and grits/bread or some type of nut butter and bread like peanut butter or just eat the nuts/seeds by themselves. Hemp seeds are a good start if you are allergic to nuts. Also, try to do more exercise but since you are low in dopamine, try to get your cardio up as dopamine is involved with walking/running so cardio will help get your levels up, but make sure you keep eating those fatty foods, and protein after you workout as it will help build up your dopamine.

Lastly, get your sleep in the dark, and try to be relaxed as much as you can as sleep is when your body regenerates which means the next day, if you did everything I stated, you will have more dopamine and feel better.

I When you stimulate your brain, if you don't eat the proper foods to give it energy, you can get psychotic and develop mental problems because the stimulation without proper energy will cause the brain to breakdown. This is why stimulant drugs cause so many mental problems, they work the brain too hard, and the brain doesn't get enough of the proper food to regenerate what was lost. Even too much coffee causes paranoia or anxiety.
And friends are falling over themselves to buy this trash? Its so demonic, friends. All this just so you can pretend to be a character in the film limitless.

Modafinil (ie Provigil) is by far the best.
Adrafinil is second.
Adderall and Ritalin/Concerta are cool too, but not over an extended period of time, unless you have ADD/ADHD

Real shyt, I've been on this otc drug you can buy on-line at multiple vendors called Noopept.

I've been playing Cambridgebrainscience.com games for a minute and been keeping track of my score. After about 2 weeks of taking this stuff I jumped from scoring within the top 15% to the top 5% on multiple tests.

Noopept - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you're going to try any kind of nootropics, make sure whoever you order from is a reliable source and you know exactly for sure what you're taking. Keep in mind that there are side effects to some.

You can also buy a bunch of similar nootropics from places like the vitamin shoppe, gnc, etc.

They got stuff out there that grows brain cells brehs. Look-up Lion's Mane mushrooms, which are sold at Vitamin Shoppes, Sprouts, etc. This stuff won a Nobel Prize for it's ability to induce brain cell growth and neuroplasticity+neurogenesis.
(1) Dude, I work in a Mental Health Ward and I will tell you this, any thing that can change neuro-biochemistry will fcuk you over in the long run...

(2) You have not accounted for the placebo effect, you have not accounted for behavioral changes that occur with positive thinking...

(3) I hope you are taking sugar pills, because if whatever you are taking is making you smarter, there is likelihood it will leave you fcuked up in the end...No different to what steroids do to the hearts of life time users...

I've always wondered about this shyt. Can you imagine what would happen if a scientist (quantum physicist, astrophysicist, chemist, biologist, rocket scientist) took those drugs? They could probably solve many of the world's problems. I know the guy who discovered the structure of DNA took LSD.
