How do they keep you from moving your eye around or looking away??
I understand how they keep your eyelids open...but how do they keep your eyeball from moving.

The whole thing reminds me of that part of Dead Space 2 where the machine jabs in dudes eye....

I'm so fukkin shook....
:sadbron::sadbron::sadbron:

Take a drink and relax lol.. the machine is able to follow eye movements though.

Wow...if I can just get that valium and get help getting past that damn laser and stuff getting close to my eyes, I might be able to do this.
Damn I wish I could be asleep for it. But I know that your eyes roll up in your head when you go to sleep so...
:wow::to::mjcry::sadbron::sadbron::sadbron:

yeah my doc offered like 2-3 valium and a stuffed toy to fidget around with, I was like nah i'm good homie.

It is cold in the room (at least for me) so wear a jacket if it's the same for you. Trust me breh, you're good. Just find a good doc who does it on the regular, find out about post-op checkups, you'll be straight. 2 minutes breh.

Funny cuz i had to be there early in the morning like 6am. There was like 10-12 of us waiting, cuz the procedure is so fast. Each @3500 a piece breh=$$$$. Plus he did them like twice a month too.

Thats encouraging.
My vasectomy was a breeze. Even rode the sportbike to and from the appointment.

The doctor that did mine had over 75,000 of these surgeries under his belt. He's from Florida and flies up here twice a month and when I got mine done there was a line of 12-15 of us getting the procedure that day. I was the last one and the whole time I was looking like :lupe: when they came to get us one by one lol

:russ: my dude Doug had that coupon tho...

I have astigmatism and I want this surgery, but I don't need it. for me, it's just kind of a luxury, if you can afford it. my designer frames cost pennies after my vision insurance kicks in :takedat:

Same here. I have a very very mild prescription and only wear glasses when I'm working on computers or small things where I need to focus on small areas.

Considering the fact that the cut on the cornea to produce the flap never heals...I think i'll stick with my glasses.
This is just too scary to me.
Not messing with any of my primary senses.

I’m going in tomorrow for a free lasik consultation. For those who have gotten the surgery, what did y’all think of it?
