I'm looking to cop one of the new 13" Retina Macbook Pros within the next day or so. I plan to get 256GB storage and 16GB RAM but I don't know which processor I wanna get.

They offer a base i5, an upgraded i5 (extra $188 :ehh:), and an i7 (extra $375 :scusthov:).

Does anybody here have the new rMBP? If so which CPU did you get and how is it?

I just got one 256 GB SSD I5.. I have no need for an I7 and it's worked well for me.

I was on the fence about spending the money on both of us to make the jump to Mac but I don't regret it..shyt is seamless.

I was the same way. Got my wife a Macbook Air a little over a year ago and wound up liking it so much that I had to get one for myself.

I may even consider grabbing an iPhone one day :scusthov:

why didn't u upgrade the storage? 256GB is not a lot of space.

For me, it isn't necessary. I have a home server, so when I'm at the crib I access anything I need from there. I do all my school work on Google Drive and my must have media and stuff is only tens of gigs.

At one point when I was in college, I would have needed a TB, but now I'm good :old:. Me and my wife both used the Air and never came close to using the 256GB it had, so I couldn't justify spending the extra.
