You don't need 16GB of RAM
Already copped and typing on it now. I just got back into school and do enough multitasking to go ahead and bite the bullet for the RAM upgrade.

I have no use for a one port computer.
My girl has one with the i7 16gb memory.

I was itching to get it but I couldn't justify another $400. fukked around and bought an expensive ass bag though, so my savings were negated![]()
I'm looking to cop one of the new 13" Retina Macbook Pros within the next day or so. I plan to get 256GB storage and 16GB RAM but I don't know which processor I wanna get.
They offer a base i5, an upgraded i5 (extra $188), and an i7 (extra $375
).
Does anybody here have the new rMBP? If so which CPU did you get and how is it?
I was on the fence about spending the money on both of us to make the jump to Mac but I don't regret it..shyt is seamless.

I just got one 256 GB SSD I5.. I have no need for an I7 and it's worked well for me.
Yeah. I'm on 2012 Macbook Pro.The macbook pro has shyt loads of ports. the Macbook (with Retina) doesnt.
I was the same way. Got my wife a Macbook Air a little over a year ago and wound up liking it so much that I had to get one for myself.
I may even consider grabbing an iPhone one day
#jobsgangForgot to update the thread. Copped the base processor i5 with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. Should be here by Thursday![]()

thought you were GSDG till the casket dropswhy didn't u upgrade the storage? 256GB is not a lot of space.
. Me and my wife both used the Air and never came close to using the 256GB it had, so I couldn't justify spending the extra.Turned my GSDG card 2 months ago, couldnt be happierthought you were GSDG till the casket drops
