You know SUNY is a comprehensive network of college/universities through out the state right?

Yes, I do know that but he said that he worked in Albany so it was obvious I was talking about SUNY Albany. When you're around the capital region people and tell people you go to SUNY they automatically assume you mean SUNY Albany.

It's not "obvious" He could of went to SUNY Empire which is near the capitol or SUNY Cobleskill. Not trying to start a argument, but I'm saying...:yeshrug:

I thought it was a fair question.
You could have assumed I went to Siena or Rose-something. St. Rose? Forgot what it's called up there.

Probably because everyone on the board is either not from nys or has attended college in nys making it not obvious. Forget it though. I'm just saying I never heard anyone say " you go to SUNY"

I have in the past, and that shyt was torture.

Yup. I've done it 2 times at different jobs. ( 10 - 6am and 11pm - 7am ) both warehouse jobs. The only benefits are no traffic and you can take care of stuff in the daytime.

Now the fukk up part is, it's hard for your body to adjust. Sometimes I would come home from work and sleep all day, get up and go back to work. Your personal life will take a hit because everybody else is on a different schedule. When I would go out, I'd always fall asleep in the movies.etc

I work on 2nd shift- 1pm to 10pm

Pay is way better for those working 3rd shift but the downside is greater: no social life, difficult to sleep during the day and that shyt has an affect on your health and causes you to age quickly.

I've worked, and currently work a 12-8 sometimes, the hardest part of the job is staying up and not being delirious smh. I'm a night owl so it could be worse, but I"m drained during the day :(

I worked from 10 PM-6 AM last summer, probably gonna do it again this year. It was tough at first but your body adjusts to it. The weirdest thing was that whenever I got off work and went home I immediately had to take a shyt before anything else. My body just decided that's the way it was gonna be. Overall I preferred working the night shift. Less supervisors walking around so you didn't have to exert yourself too much, could take it a bit easier. Not something I could do for years though unless I wanna be flabby before I even hit 30.
