Folks climbed ALL THE WAY up into their feelings with this thread. Do not pay your baby mama. $ OUTSIDE of the CS system. Ya don't get credit for those payments, so do not make them.

Put self on CS as soon as each b*stard child is born alive. Don't wait 6 months and pay outside of govt-issued CS. Just assume your position in the system.

If you married a woman and had kids with her, but then she split with said kids? Life happens. Put self on child support and pay out the NOSE.

If you're being forced to give the minimum, why you mad at the mom? You should be mad at yourself for being a half assed father.

Have you taken her to court for child support? I know you may not "need" it, but it is her responsibility to contribute (court enforced or not)

Naw, I used to try to get her to do something but in the end, if I waited on her it would never get done so me and my wife do it all. I don't regret it either.

here in texas its 20% for 1 child of your gross, not net income, for those of you with kids, dont pay the mother even if things are cool, because the court wont count any of that. Your best bet is to put yourself on child support....

if the money for child support is being used right nobody would have a problem with it cuz they know their kid is being taken care of properly and see its worth the money for that kid too get

but when that money is being abused and going elsewhere it becomes a problem

and especially when that person pulls that u can't see the kids stunt


there is no safe or sure bet way who u are with that u will stay together shyt happens and all u can do is be there for your kid as best as possible and set a good example and standard that your child as they get older surpasses you in

its just really difficult when one of the parents acts like an a$$hole that complicates things and makes the whole situation more difficult than it needs to be instead of the doing the right thing and doing right by that kid

the worse thing regarding cs it doesnt take into account when the kid is with you, so the kid is with you like every weekend thats like a week but you still gotta pay the monthly cs payments.

moms in canada already get baby bonus which is like 450 a month per child and then they get child support, so less say a single mom in canada whose baby dad is mkaing like 50k a year, is already getting 800 bucks a month for her child and this doesnt count her working etc.

I was married and got divorced. I have to pay child support. I thought I was gonna be with this woman long term. What's your response to that?

Bottom line is that you don't have control over that situation. What are u gonna do if that woman says she no longer wants to be with you? How at u stopping her from leaving and taking u to court for child support other than begging her?

I personally don't trip about what she does with the money. As my child gets older, he will see the disparities in our lifestyles and see that dad is the responsible parent who provides the better lifestyle. That's all u can do. Is be there for your kid. Kids don't see child support directly. They only see what u do for them. Try explaining to a kid that the reason u do nothing for them is because mom gets child support. Whether it sounds justified, that kid isn't gonna respect u, if u they don't see that u care. And u don't have to spend lots of bread. Kids want time more than anything.

Spite these Heffers by letting them know that the child support doesn't phase you. Do for your kid, go above and beyond for your kid. Show them that mom is money hungry, and dad does for me regardless of the circumstance. My kids mom can't say nothing. She can't even bad mouth me. She knows that she can't even explain why she has me on child support when I take care of my kid no problem. She doesn't even tell people she has me on child support. She is ashamed, especially when people visibly see what I do.

I'm obviously not talking about men that were married. A lot of these cats having babies with women on some unplanned shyt and women they got issues with already. It's like women act like they didn't know a nikka was gonna be a deadbeat, too many dudes act like they didn't know the character of their babymama.
