COD is pretty boring to watch competitively.

CS: Go is ideal for this. Has some strategy along with play-by-play stuff, and its pretty straightforward if you are someone flicking channels you don't need to guess a lot about what is happening. Its also cheap to buy.
Starcraft 2 would also have been good, although that game is now dead and can't have large amounts of time with nothing happening.
Fighters also could be ok. Fifa also I guess.
MOBAs don't work anywhere near as well for TV however.
