The fact that she's been struggling with this shyt and even took steps to transition 30 years ago (spent 5 years going through treatment) is crazy. People always joked about her surgeries back then and no one ever knew what was below the surface. She's brave and I think the interview was handled with a lot of care (i.e. making distinctions between sexual orientation & gender, the history of the transgender movement, not putting emphasis on her anatomy).

Yeah, he's a she until they start using y'alls bathrooms and dominating female sports

I don't have a problem with that. Up until this special, I had never heard of Renee Richards, a transgender woman who won a Supreme Court case to play in US Open. Someone who identifies as a woman is a woman to me. No asterisks.
