Yes. I worked in a call center and I quit after a month. What can you expect? How how many a$$holes actually exist in america, that's what you can expect. The call center shyt is not for people like me who hate rejection. If you're cool with being cussed out all the time, you will be fine.

when I was 19 or 20 I worked at a major insurance company taking insurance claims.
It was a cool little job for me at the time. Just got boring, and hated having to constantly take phone calls.

I worked as a security officer at a call center for six months when I was in college. That was one of the time of my life. Me and other officers was getting so much p*ssy from the chicks working there. It was ridiculous. That was the 6 months when young 20 year old DalMen became a man.

My girl works at a at&t call center, and makes $30 an hour. Not bad for a High School Dropout, she did get her G.E.D though...

She loathes the job though, only reason she stays is because of the pay and health benefits.

I did pay off my current car with that job, so it was good for that.

i did briefly at Verizon. low wages but they have bonus incentives that can give you decent pay (i forget how it works, but w/o the bonuses you make very little)

lol dude's right about the single moms. and another thing that surprised me was how immature the whole operation was. like during the training the little 'games' they had us doing were downright embarrassing.

definitely not something you want to do long term. it was my least favorite job
