This site has me so accustom to racism, that I skimmed the thread title and thought it said, "anyone "c**ning" for the holidays?"
I'm scarred for life y'all.

Just saying that meat balances a diet out. And thanksgiving is a hard holiday to be a vegan around cooking wise

Theyre so easy. They taste the same too.
Well, we bought a electric turkey fryer last Christmas. We fried a Turkey Breast but for Thanksgiving we are gonna do a whole turkey. I know we're going to have cornbread with actual corn in it, Mac & Chesse with 5 different cheeses in it. I'm cooking braised red cabbage. If you have ever ate at a restaurant called "Houston's" they have it there. I can cook the exact same thing and it's good. My mother is going to cook us some sweet potato pie and her pies don't taste like everyone else's so I can't wait for that. Greens and dressing and we are going to be eating really good.
I have always hated traditional Thanksgiving food for the most part growing up...so I try new recipes every year...
Any ideas?
I've never heard of greens with no meat
