as usual it all depends on your goals.

i know some people who are doing it. seems good.

then again, 95 percent of workout programs "work". if you remain consistent on it and if you follow the nutritional program to a T, it will probably do what it's suppose to do.

then again you could find the best program in the world designed by a team of the best doctors, nutritionists, professional trainers with decades of experience, etc. you do the program for a week and a half and then fall off. doesn't mean the program doesn't work.

so yeah, it all "works" if you put in the work. but it depends what your specific goals are.

It'll get you in shape. I gave it to a barber. He was down 20lbs in a month from following it. I noticed a difference in his first 2 weeks. He was down ten asap

Sh1t is too hard for a beginner imo. It's also hard on the knees with all of the jumping day after day. It helped me lose weight but you won't look impressive at all...

the women look better than the p90x women.:datazz:

with the exception of Pam's thigh's:ohlawd:

seriously though
if you want to drop weight quick

Follow the diet and do insanity
just can't eat like an hour before you start.

We did it last year and just started again a week ago
dropped 5 pound like it was nothing.

it is what it is -

it will help you get lean in a short amount of timer, but if you want mass, you will have to lift ____HEAVY.

I've tried Insanity.

**Disclaimer: If you do "anything" 5-6 days a week, it will "work".**

Insanity is cool because it doesn't require anything but body weight to do. If you travel for work, it's easy to knock out Insanity routines in your hotel (get a ground floor room). It's a good workout. You will sweat like a MF. Like most HIIT routines, if you do them, you will burn a redic amount of calories. I routinely burned 650-800+ calories in a 45 minute workout. I'm a slight fat-ass right now so that accounts for the high calories.

If you have bad knees, it's not a good fit. Also, it can become redundant after a few weeks. I have the best success mixing Insanity in for cardio workouts. I've read a few people that mix P90 and Insanity for a good combo of strength and cardio.

Last thing, people who love Burpees and burpee hybrids, there are ton of those in this routine.

Give it a shot. It's a few good downloads out there. It won't hurt. If you stick with it, you will drop weight in a hurry. Like everything, it has good & bad.

^^^^ thats my 5hit right there. P90x & insanity/asylum hybrids. Been doing insanity for a few years now, 5hits no joke on ur knees wit all that jumping. Followed the workout routine religiously, but only followed a moderate diet. Lost bout 35lbs off this routine alone.

Word, I had been considering giving Insanity a whirl, but my man who is about the same build as me was doing it, and after a couple of weeks, his knees was shot. He said it works, but if you got some bulk on you, your knees will pay the price.

Got it for free last year. Good cardio workout. Not much else.

Basically this. Its good for endurance/stamina and probably working out some tendons and muscles you rarely use weight lifting and doing something like regular HIIT, but I would't pay top coin for the DVDs.

:whoa:
Not disagreeing with you totally, there... but,

Tony Horton was annoying as hell too.
Giving 1950's 1960's and 1970's pop culture references in P90X

fun, fun fun til my daddy takes the T-bird away/Lynn Swann/ Jimmy page ????:snoop:

I hope they at least got him in the 90s's swag on P90 x 2.

But the wife gets all these work outs
If you really want annoying

try Shaun T on Hip hop ABS
I absolutely refuse to do that one.

i was walking by the room where she was working out to it (Hip Hop Abs) one day
and
The song, "Don't you wish your girlfriend was just like me, " came on during the workout ......

and that fool was like

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaay, that's my song!):comeon::dead:

he's 10 times less annoying in insanity
its like he went from " little Richard Simmons" to MR T.
