I live a simple life, i go to work come home and have the rest of the day to do whatever i want. That free time is everything to me. I could get second jobs, i could go hang out with freinds, go to school etc but that free time is my greatest asset.

this is also makes me want no parts of any kids or extra responsibilities. This sounds very selfish and it very well may be but its your life. I feel this is also a very introvert trait which i know alot of us are here.

So just wondering, in a world or should i say country where everyone in a rush to get no where quick does anyone truly just sit back and enjoy their free time?

Time is all we have breh. Outside of life, it is the one thing that once it's lost it can never be recovered. Money is nowhere near as important as time. I'm almost 30 now and wish I realized it earlier (but with age comes wisdom I suppose) but wasting time is the most unfortunate thing one can do. fukk a mind being a terrible thing to waste, time is a terrible thing to waste.

Fantasy.
Yes! I agree, that's exactly how i feel(except for the kids part lol, i want a baby dammit). But for real i consider my time precious after working 50 hours a week hunched down in front of a computer all day cant no one tell me nothing if i want to spend my weekends high out my mind listening to music and browsing the internet or reading while laying in bed all day. All that going out, partying isnt for me. I have a grill, a backyard with a pool and the people (with exception of one) i love the most nearby, besides traveling theres not to much id rather do.

Time is your most valuable resource.

“In the time of your life-live…Time is short and it doesn’t return again.
It is slipping away while I write this and while you read it, and the monosyllable
of the clock is Loss, loss, loss, unless you devote your heart to its opposition."

One of my favorite quotes.

What are you doing with your "free time"? Not hanging out with friends, not learning, and not growing? This isn't :blessed: status breh

I hate to break it to you but if you aren't utilizing your time somehow, you are wasting it.

And I don't mean that you should get a second job etc. but make sure that you are somewhat productive. Chilling is fantastic if that's your end goal, but if I were you I would spend my "free time" wisely now so that you can have "valuable time" later. Getting a second job doesn't sound like fun now, but grinding and saving money for a few years so you can spend 3-4 weeks traveling the world later is a better use of your time (or insert any other passion hobby other than traveling)

But I see what you are hinting at :ehh:

I'll definitely second what everyone is saying utilizing free time productively. Free time in and of itself is nice but the real value of it comes from your ability to use it to invest in yourself. Steady consistent self-improvement, whether it be physically, mentally, emotionally or socially, produces benefits that will last a lifetime. And the confidence that you get from being able to think back to previous versions of yourself and see how they improved is just :ohlawd:.

Nothing worse than seeing some old-brother who never grasped the importance of investing in themselves. 40 on the outside but 20 on the inside. "We must come to see that human progress never rolls in on the wheels of inevitability. It comes through the tireless efforts and the persistent work of dedicated individuals."

agree and disagree. if i could work less and make the same money or more that would be awesome, but its just not in the cards at the moment. i miss out on a lot of things, but right now taking care of my responsibilities financially takes precedent.
