Anyone else hate that Joe Budden will be just remembered as media personality?

That would be like saying its a shame that Will Smith will be remembered more as an Oscar winning actor than a Grammy award winning rapper.

He CHOSE his path. If Joe Budden wanted to be remembered as a great rapper he’d be RAPPING. There’s literally a million different ways to get your music heard these days and he’s got a built in platform IF thats where his directives lay. It obviously doesn’t.
Exactly. I think the fact that he couldnt get out of his own way is what stopped him from being remembered as an all time great MC.

its the same shyt that stopped him from being Joe Rogan type media personality as well. sht he could have beeb bigger than Charlamagne too but he just cant get out of his own way :francis:

He's a good rapper but he corny I never got deep in his catalog like that. His best shyt is the no ordinary love series and his diss songs

Would you prefer he be known for being one of the only rappers on Def Jam (when that still mattered and consumers were eating up anything hip-hop) that couldn't go platinum, and was crying on JoeBuddenTV every day talking about "going Gold is good" and "fans on the internet count"? :heh:

Or for being a former dusthead turned one-hit wonder?

Or for spending the past 20 years telling us about his hands, meanwhile the only thing on record we got is the Chef's goons putting paws on him?
