Anyone else NOT go to their high school prom?

I mean granted, high school wasn't too fun and most people got on my nerves.
And my parents said no to when i asked, claiming it was "young people's excuse to go dance to demonic music and fornicate"
(father's a baptist preacher )

But based on folk's accounts of the night, it seemed fun, and I kinda wish i went.

My grandmother got terribly sick and I couldn't go. I was so confident I was going to lose my virgintity that night.

Luckily for me, my freshman year at St John's they have the Black and White ball. I made up for the prom miss

I'm not gonna lie, that was one of the most fun nights of my life lol was fun because all the girls who were to shy in school, had the opportunity to see you outside of a school/formal setting and dance and make they move .... shyt was great...it was like being in a club with all your best friends and every girl there is familiar with you so they got no qualms about throwing that ass back lol
