Yeah I don't even got any certs yet either but my job reimburses me for the cost of the exams if I pass.

I'm just glad that I have a path to make that $20+ an hour

In 2016 when I was 23-24 I was working for $9 an hour as a dishwasher at a restaurant for a few years shyt was miserable. You only 20 tho and you're going into a high paying field so just keep grinding.


I make about $17 dollars an hour now after getting my associates degree. I work in the helpdesk in IT I know that ain't shyt to the Coli tho

Bruh I washed dishes at a restaurant during my gap year and that was one of the things that inspired me to bring my ass to college. I remember walking with those buckets full of dishes and telling myself this couldn’t be life type of shyt

I also had a job as a flagger (the person who holds those stop and go signs for construction crews) and I was making $14 an hour.

And that $17 an hour is decent that’s ACTUALLY about what the average American makes despite what these coli nikkas say

This job might be shytty, well go find another job and job hop around til u find one u like.

You won’t get the freedom to do that when older and you won’t want to work certain jobs once you’re older because you’ll feel it’s little kid shyt.

Find a job that’s fun and works with school, with some hoes too.

Then in Clinicals I got a job as a lab accessionor for like 11.50/hr. I thought I had came up.

I’m 20, I’m in college studying nursing in rotc , broke as hell so I gotta work on top of it

I took a gap year and was making more money and was doing less shyt than this though. Don’t see how nikkas live like this

The good news is you’re only 20

this is one of those periods in your life where you have to grind before you shine. Focus on your career, this job is only temporary

Like others have said, we was all there at one point. Doing bullshyt jobs just to keep a lil money in our pockets.

I did damn near two years in retail and restaurants before I got into my union apprenticeship. Unloading them fat ass truck shipments in the extreme hot or cold made me grind harder
