The fans suck
This is true too...look at all these threads around here.

"k dot snatched cole's place. "
"drake has his foot on MMG's neck"
":banderas: so and so about to catch that flop"
"album that's been out for five minutes vs. album that's been out for 18 minutes"
"why is fakkit x such a fakkit"

like STFU, dudes act like they only want 2-3 dudes to be in the game/successful

Nah, dudes like fab, Luda, mob deep, etc all used to sell. In that 1998-2004 era basic dudes could go plat, hell even chingy went plat

You named two dudes, Fab & Luda. One of which I already named.

Otherwise it's been the same amount of people ever since Kanye first dropped. They may have sold more, but the platinum artist number remains the same.

It's truth,
We do not even share a universal appeal within our culture now, it currently appeals to all women, homosexuals and shell of men, simps and cowards who still seeks validity. Just look at your modern favorite rappers, actors, politicians, and women on your favorite channel such as Bravo, VH1, BET and etc, This is what happens when you do not control nothing and do not own anything. We are a mockery of ghosts.

Haha I love the rampant homophobia and paranoia within this statement. So things were better when street trash, thugs, and overblown criminal caricatures with gun covers were en vogue huh? Hyper-masculine thug cartoons forced onto the public by white execs. It was all good then though right? And calling stuff gay that you don't like? That's a tactic as old as elderly white dudes clowning Elvis and the Beatles being stars to women and homos. It's played out. Black culture isn't any deader than it was when older artists were claiming hip-hop was destroying music. What other era did more rappers control their own careers than in 2013? We've got Diddy and Jay, two of the biggest icons to come from hip-hop. Dre, Russell Simmons, and the indie artist movement.

They don't want anybody to be successful. There are hate threads about the top 3 artists out

True dat.....sadly hip hop is overly regulated by the 'Big Wigs' these days & its getting worse by the cycle.... Its shocking really to see how much it has been watered down /crippled....especially when you do the math and compare & contrast against other prolific music genres... declination in process indeed!

You also gotta blame the 30/25 and under generation. I don't think we show as much maturity and insight as the one that preceded us. I was looking at cats like PAC, cube, wu tang, big, nas, Kane, rakim, etc. these dudes came out like MEN. They seem like they should be much older just based on the way they carried themselves and the music they made...I don't look at these young guys like men, there really is something missing in them
