Got one right down the road, been here forever

We always get our milk there, only thing I never tried from there is their meat

But their generic shyt tastes pretty good, and they have some name brand shyt like gatorade and poptarts for cheap as hell

We got another store similar to it, but it's owned by Kroger, got 5 gallons of milk for $4.40 total last week :ohlawd:

I used to in college and when I first moved out of state. German companies are the best as they know how to run lean operations. Lidl is also another one but their produce is hit or miss. Sav-a-lot has similar prices but they are generally located in the ass crack of the hood, not my cup of tea. They don't do the bag discount like Aldi (used to be 10 cents if you bring your own bag).

Always loved goin to aldis with my mom cause she let me get pretty much anything I wanted. Had to go to Wal-Mart with my eyes closed most of the time.:russ::mjcry:

Now it's the only place I get groceries.

Dang they don't have em in the Gump? They all over Jefferson County.
I'm surprised they're even in Alabama period. I feel better knowing that they are in the B'Ham area, maybe we will get one eventually. We got these Cash Save/Save A Lot stores here, they ain't as cheap as what's being talked about with Aldi. Probably not as good of quality either.

I've been in SC for the past 3 weeks helping my mom sell the house. My grandmother told me about Aldi which is 5 minutes away. We went to walmart to get some stuff and I got some avacados for .99 each and thought it was a good deal. When I got back in the car my grandma was like :what: "why would you get that from here, I already told you Aldi's has better deals. You could've got those for .50.

I'm like :comeon: "okay grandma"

So I'm driving and I pick up some Ghost Pepper fries from Wendy's (which are piff by the way) and decide to go see if the prices were really that cheap. First off you had to put a quarter in to get a shopping cart :patrice: but i'm still like :yeshrug: Let me see what's inside.

It's real spacey, but it seems they stock exactly what they need and nothing more. It's got lots of space and everything is laid out in a really simple format so when you come back, you know exactly where to go to get what you want. Sure enough, everything was CHEAP. Like one poster said, so cheap you don't even know if you want to buy it. But I did and the food is great. I'm about to go in a little while once my sister gets back from school so that we can cook a mother's day feast. We probably won't even spend more than $30 to really have an excellent meal, whereas if you went anywhere else, I'd be paying double or more. Too bad we don't have one of these in NY yet, but they really should get one.
