It's AstroFx. Google them or check them on Instagram. They are traders who train people as well. I spent all year training people, it improves your skill, it's a great opportunity to see flaws in your strategy through the progress of your students
Stop promoting :duck: and pipe dreams to my people please.

What kind due diligence are you really doing??The 3rd thing that comes up on google searching Astro fx is 'Astro fx scam' "Astroforex (Course) (UK). They have serious complaints going back to 2012! They have zero experience in the field have never worked at a bank or fund. their PR is IGing car rentals from their friend and fake watches to lure in more gullible clients. Desperate and greedy kids hand over £2000 for a chance of the high life.

Do you really think this is how legitimate finance professionals market their business.

Their reviews are damning, even a 5 year old could see.
AstroFX - Forex Scam by Shaun Powell and Aman Natt from AstroForex partners with Aleem Iqbal of Platinum Executive Travel Rental Cars Birmingham Review 484414 Apr 26, Birmingham, England, Forex Training Course @ Pissed Consumer

. Unfortunately all the negative reports here about Astrofx are true, they stole the coursework from a lady trader, Shaun's girlfriend was involved in the JA Wealth forex scam, they removed their terrible trading results from myfxbook, people have lost a lot of money as Shaun has blown many trading accounts....The cars are all rentals, if you look at the company house records, Shaun doesnt even work for Astrofx....They are however very good at sales pitches and talking *** to low income people

I like many others was duped into buying into the 3 day Forex training event, which was sold to me by the dubious traders Aman Natt and Shaun Powell in Birmingham. I paid exactly £3000 of my inheritance hoping to make much more after reading about these guys however unfortunately I lost circa £27000 in 5 days to these jokers!

if these guys are so good and make 50k a day from clicking a button why do they waste their time training paupers? they are selling regular technical analysis that you can get off the net for FREE.

You can stay ignorant and do whatever you want but don't start trying to convince people here to join you and give their money to hustlers.

Word. Speak on it homie. I remember during my internship, an older cat who now works in private equity told me off record about the 'politics' he encountered when he was in IB.

I thought about going back to school and working my way up the rigorous, competitive IB ladder but I don't know after talking to multiple people (including fam) about their experiences.
Private wealth, VC, corporate finance are the worst areas for racism and nepotism. Trading floor is the least I would say. IB/corporate finance etc also work crazy hours so and have a huge dropout rate, so I wouldn't advise that anyway.

All this drip on me
Word. Yeah I've been made aware of the poor worklife-balance and environment (my entry level job is in a similar environment to a lesser degree) and so I've already come to terms that the toxic cronyism and the C-levels' desire for maintaining the status-quo is something I'd have to get used to unless I want to have complete career change down the road.

Right. You could see that from a mile a way and they're clearly preying on the gullible/uninformed. :pachaha:

I would say I think going forward programmers and quants will be in high demand on trading floors if you have maths/computing degree. they are trying to automate everything , build algorithms, neural networks, and blockchain technology. In corporate, compliance will also be big, it's dull legal stuff but it's safe.

I'm taking the course whether they are legit or not. I want to see what they're selling.

Let's be honest this isn't the forum for any kind of investment talk because of skeptics and people who think you have to work for a hedge fund or learn this in school.

Either way I'm good. Read up on some of the shyt I've posted and you can figure out what works and doesn't. I've worked for some of these banks you put all your trust in, we steal money, we launder money for people from all walks of life. It's stupid to put anyone on a pedestal. Always do your due diligence

Just listen to yourself here, how is this logical? They are selling SNAKE OIL and pipe dreams.

There isn't any way to consistently beat the market, the current price of anything has all the available current information factored in. So Either you have information everyone doesn't OR you are better at interpreting that info. Given the millions of other traders, massive computer power behind the algorithms that watch everything, and their combined vast experience it's very unlikely that individual investors beat either of those 2 obstacles.

Market moves are RANDOM. The market is moved by new information, new information in random. Financial maths and Option theory is based on the premise that the market is a 'random walk process'. How can these courses help you beat randomness? :jbhmm:

These trading courses most of the time teach you technical analysis which is pseudoscience, it only aids the very short term traders. It's mainly there for salespeople to sell trade ideas, and explain away the random market movements after the fact.

These ridiculous returns you post are are either lies luck or cheating: where the profit chart is a straight line from bottom left to top right- it's impossible! Anyone with knowledge experience or logic (not greed) realises this, so thanks but I won't look at any more of your Astrofx companies. Stop peddling these schemes to black people!

This reminds of this laughing stock of the trading floor when it came out. Some self taught mystery guy who spent 200k one night on champagne.

Whenever I see some flexing ass shyt like that on Instagram, I immediately know it's a scam. That's exactly the type of thing MLM reps were doing.

You're a skeptic, thats cool. Technical analysis isn't rocket science (you'll come and say it is). Fundamentals isn't either (economics).
I'm not here to convince you of anything, Im just someone who trades, who is happy to buy a course and learn (i can write it off as well so its not really a big deal).
That being said, like the steve mauro course for $10k, now come say thats a joke. That guy is money.. Its like saying if George Soros released a course and priced it at $20k that it wouldn't be worth it.

I said technical analysis is mumbo jumbo, I said Options and financial theory is rocket science, which it is. I'm skeptic of bs, which is what you're touting.

All these "teach amateurs how to trade and beat the market in days" are frauds ALL OF THEM. If Soros had a course like this he'd be a fraud too.:Jamarnah:. it's the same as trying to beat the roulette wheel.

You can't consistently beat the market and you definitely can't learn to do it in a few days from IG flexers. As I said, do you, just don't promote the bs.

Not promoting, this is an investment thread. You discern what works for you and what doesn't. I can afford to do mauro's course(which I'm doing) as well as astrofx and any other course I want (just stating facts).

People in here probably cant invest and don't know how. Why don't you put them up on game ATLeast and tell them to trade paper money till they have something that works rather than being so negative as if you make money trading or investing(pretty sure you don't given your outlook).

Nobody's impressed by what you say can afford, and what you waste your money on.

I would have thought telling someone to not hand their money over to scammers was 'game' wouldn't you?
I'm negative to people talking crap they don't know about especially if it will badly affect people. :webster:. You have no experience, knowledge and probably morals. On top of that you're stubborn still insisting on giving the scammers money.

I'll say again, do what you want, but don't try to get black people to drink to your kool aid, especially on this forum.

Im done on this subject, the thread has been derailed enough.

I used to work in finance doing desktop and some server side support. Worked at Carlyle, Barclays, and a bunch of other spots. The pay was great, made between 45 and 55 an hour depending on the job, but it's stressful because you really have to be wound tight and on your AAA game. I did it for 6 years and finally said fukk it. I always think about jumping back in though.

Man its not to impress anyone. This is an investment thread. I am talking about my investments.
Education is one of the biggest investments one can make. I mentioned some of the best traders on the planet Mauro and Soros. Mauro's course is an investment.
The only kool aid here is investment using financial instruments. That is what we are all discussion.
