I always thought cut could mean, everone tries out for Varsity. And as try outs progress there are cuts till a 12 man roster is formed.
Did you try out for the team? yea, but I was the first one to get cut.

That's true but what could his agenda be? The hidden agenda's you reference are usually molestation and money. We have no way of knowing whether or not he molested Mike but if he did it would certianly make sense for Mike not to fukk with him. However he's "fukked" with him since he blew up so that doesn't really stand up. He clearly hasn't milked him from money judging by his financial circumstances so what other motive could there have been?
