Barter.... You sound like a prepper.
:ld: I am, and it's a good thing, my city on fire. We ain't been nowhere but the bodega window for weeks bc we planned ahead and knew the minute the corona hit wuhan.

We spent the fall and winter filling up the pantry and the deep freezer. Spring, i was supposed to be starting the garden. Fall 2020, getting a greenhouse. We on track.
The early stages of human evolution? perhaps.

But within the last 200 years or more it wouldn't have made a difference regarding the matter obviously.

you mean... some of the most vital stages of human evolution....?:skip:

and no... you're wrong about the last 200 years too. imagine if there were no meat to eat during some of the famines that occurred during the last 200 years:mjtf::gucci:

I disagree

It certainly is and it would be better for the environment overall.

Instead of getting a dead animals leg have a handful of peanuts
its clear as day you dont know what you're talking about.

there are VITAL nutrients that are almost nonexistent in plants, (vitamins b12, d ) both being EXTREMELY important. also, some minerals are very difficult to get...... for example calcium and iron (while abundant in some plants, they have very low bioavailability the body can use only a small fraction) and iodine.

can an adult live as a healthy vegan? sure, but kids?? NO. children have much different nutritional needs than adults. Kids generally require more energy and protein per body weight than adults and they require less fibre, which is a bad combination for vegan diet.

youre not getting kids on a vegan diet in the 80s.

First week I hate bacon & Italian sausage cause it was the only meat in the store.

Started eating beef too.

I'm telling myself at least those meats are building my immune system back up :sadcam:

Been doing pretty well on 2 meals a day.

Tend to have granola and fruit for breakfast with green tea around 10AM and then a massive high protein meal around 5PM ish. I will snack inbetween on some days so... I've been making sure to do my exercise every 2 days.

150 pressups, 150 situps, 150 body squats and 150 dips in 3 sets of 50. Plus a jog or bike ride every few days. Maintaining nicely so far.

I eat more I'm general. I don't eat a lot when I'm out keeping myself busy Sitting around not doing shyt I'm drinking more & eating more.

I need to start exercising or something or I'm gonna be fat soon.
More time in the house leads to more eating if you have a lot of food in the house. When you're out and about the mind doesn't emphasize or demand food the same way it does when you're in the house not doing anything.

That's why I'm surprised to see people actually losing weight during this lockdown because for the vast majority of people stuck indoors it'll be the opposite.
