These lower prices not hitting South Florida :francis:
There are no lower rent prices ANYWHERE. Prices are jumping monthly. It's just like the propaganda they've been pushing with grocery prices dropping. While everyday shoppers see increases weekly. Hence them directly PLAYING IN OUR FACES. Instead of doing the shenanigans behind our backs like before.

I’m really worried about the economy. It feels like a depression is coming.
How do you know what a depression looks like?

You all know that "Economic Depression" has a definition right?

"An economic depression is a severe, prolonged downturn in economic activity characterized by high unemployment, a significant drop in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and a sharp decrease in consumer spending and investment. It is a more extreme and lasting version of a recession, often defined by criteria like more than a 10% drop in GDP and unemployment exceeding 20%."

@Elim Garak is right. We are a ways away from that, but they are hiding the economic data now. Even if we eventually reach one, we will feel it before they let the data tell us that its here.

It’s the opposite. He keeps rent low as an agent, block gets bought out, gentrification begins.
:picard:
Cold world. We seeing more white people in South DeKalb. Eastside of Atlanta is getting whiter by the month unfortunately.
:francis:
North of Glenwood on Candler is the cutoff. White people moving further south now.

I was wondering how long it would take them to move down. If they keep going further southeast then there's actually really good infrastructure down there for gentrification.

I still remember hearing shootouts at Lakewood as a kid, but it's actually a prime candidate for gentrification because of the cultural entertainment value of the amphitheater.   the area is surprisingly walkable too with great highway access. As crazy as it sounds, one day all the kid cudi shows will be replaced with linkin Park :russ:

There's a suspicious amount of hiking trails being built in anticipation :mjpls:

I’m finishing my move from LA to Pasadena today.

Was on the lookout for spots through the whole course of 2025 and when 2026 was about to hit I saw massive drops across the board.

Came across a 3b3b 2 story townhome in the walkable (96 score) playhouse district for less than the smaller average 2b2b’s were going for in mid 2025.

Rents have shifted for sure in socal.
