Whatever makes you happy breh, but the reality is that people are literally paying 3x the amount for something that even a 7 year old laptop can do fairly well.

until I bought multiple P.O.S. PC's trying to be cheap when I could've bought one Mac for the same price.
And I've been using said Mac since 2010... Might be time for an upgrade
And my roommate just bought a 2013 Mac with 500GB HD and 8GB Ram for the WHOPPING price of $600... get your hustle on fellas.
You're essentially paying for quality, fluid OS, and less maintenance whether doing everyday tasks, multimedia, work, school, etc.

I just copped this badboy two days ago, shyt is popping and check that price. Apple is overrated man. spending a G for a laptop is insane. your boy got lucky but there's fools out here that will go to the apple store and get clowned. I dont need all those specs and shyt, i just need it for the internet and to write shyt. im not doing a documentary or editing videos

Like i said, im not doing anytrhing crazy taxing to the laptop just basic shyt. dont overpay for what you can pay and afford. i seen plenty of ignorant buyers out here buying apple and keep buying laptops just re-upping just because it's an apple. If you cant afford it then dont buy it. Anything a mac can do a PC can do. What im having trouble seeing is that mac's dont have blu-ray drives. which is bullshyt. I had to customize my toshiba which im also picking up tommorow. 
Apple cost more because every part internally is top of line. Alot of these PC manufactures cut cost on things like wifi cards, sound cards, build quality, and screens. Apple doesn't so it seems like you're getting ripped off but that's not the case. And if you go to these PC manufacturers websites and see how much their top of line models cost they're about in the same Mac price range.

All these manufacturers outsource to assembly lines though? If you spec out a PC with similar specs to a mac you'll pretty much be at the same price point. Not to mention the amount of usable apps that osx comes preinstalled with compared to the bloatware on pcs.
All this ripoff stuff is just people not getting what Apple is about. They're not trying to sell to every market just anyone who wants to purchase a premium product. If you look at HPs elitebook line or Lenovos ThinkPad line they're premium quality pcs are right around Macbook prices. But then they'll also have their mid and low range for everyone else unlike Apple.

Macbook pros are nice! Its fast and rips through anything easily. And dont let me get into the aesthetics.
There's a reason alot professionals prefer to use Macbooks more than anything else.
Only draws backs you cant insert CD's and you can't upgrade your ram for the new thinner models. So choose wisely.
